Ægishjálmur - Helm of awe - PATCH

An Icelandic galdr, a combinations of runes - shaped into a protective amulet and/or seal. It means helm of awe (or helm of terror) and was believed to induce fear and to protect against abuse of power.

3 inch wide embroidered patch, with iron on backing. In silver color on black.
